Ludlow Community Intervention Team

What is the Ludlow Community Intervention Team (LCIT)?

The Ludlow Community Intervention Team is made up of designated staff from government agencies in Ludlow. The team meets weekly to address specific situations regarding community members in need of support. The LCIT will develop immediate, coordinated, and integrated responses, working collaboratively with community members to ensure members have access to the services and support available. The LCIT will also review responses to identify gaps or areas that need improvement.

Who is part of the LCIT?

This team consists of the Ludlow Health Department, the Ludlow Police Department, the Ludlow Fire Department, and the Mill Towns Shared Services Social Worker.

For all other referrals, please contact the Mill Towns Shared Services Social Worker at 413-750-8504 by phone call or text message. The Mill Towns Shared Services Social Worker will follow up on referrals received during business hours within 24 hours. If a referral is received after 12pm on Friday or on the weekend, follow up will be made the next business day.
